Celebrate the coronation of King Charles III with Flagmakers’ range of high-quality Coronation flags, bunting, banners, tablecloths and selfie frames.
On Saturday the 6th of May 2023, King Charles III will officially be crowned as the King of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth Nations. This will be the first ceremony of its kind since the crowning of the late Queen Elizabeth II in June 1953. During this spiritual and symbolic ceremony, formal traditions from previous coronations will be followed, such as the use of the Imperial State Crown, the Orb and the Sceptre to signify the reign of the new heir. On this occasion, Camilla, the wife of King Charles will also be crowned as the Queen Consort.
To celebrate this momentous occasion, the United Kingdom, Commonwealth Nations and other countries from around the world will come together to mark this occasion. This includes hosting street parties, putting up decorations and, in the UK, a public bank holiday. To help you get ready to celebrate, purchase one of our formal decorations to show your support for the new monarch.

Does King Charles III have an Official Coronation Flag?
In preparation for the King’s coronation, a new emblem has been designed by Sir Jony Ive KBE to mark the occasion. This will be featured on flags, banners and bunting to celebrate the day. This Coronation Emblem features the St Edward Crown surrounded by flowers, trees and branches to reflect the King’s love for the natural world. The colours, red, white and blue are taken from the Union Flag, which represents the colours of the United Kingdom.
