Established in 1837, Brown’s Hotel is one of London’s oldest hotels. This Georgian building boasts 5 floors of luxury rooms and suites, and has often been the choice of royalty, world leaders, and literary greats whilst staying in Mayfair.
Whilst offering guests exceptional comfort, Brown’s Hotel aims to marry heritage features of their building, London, and the UK, with contemporary touches. The hotel endeavours to create a quintessentially British atmosphere and combine the elements of opulence with a warm personal service to make people feel at home.
Brown’s Hotel were looking for a supplier and service that could produce high-quality national flags and keep them looking their best. The hotel required several flags that would look superb, at all times of the year, both indoors and outdoors.
Since 2009, Flagmakers has supplied a number of national flags for Brown’s Hotel including multiple sizes of the Union Jack. These flags are lovingly hand-sewn to create a beautifully detailed standard that can be flown inside, or at the entrance of the hotel.
Each flag is made from a robust knitted polyester and is finished with anti-fray netting to protect the edges and hems from wear and tear.
To maintain the elegant British feel for the hotel, the Union Jack flags at the front of Brown’s Hotel are regularly checked, cleaned, changed, and repaired by Flagmakers Flag Change Service. Ensuring the hotel can make an immaculate impression, and not worry about the colours or quality of their flags fading over time.
